We are looking for you who are instrumentalists and want to experience the power of playing together in an orchestra. All instruments and ages are welcome, but we are in particular need of horn players and percussionists.

We are a symphony orchestra with around 50 musicians of various ages who want to sharpen our skills further and develop our music making. Our musicians come from many backgrounds but all with a great interest in music, many of whom are music teachers or good amateur musicians. We play everything from symphonies by famous composers to film music and musicals, and often collaborate with soloists and choirs.

The orchestra plays 4-5 concerts per year, most of which in the Spira concert hall. Every year we hold our traditional and appreciated Lucia concert.

Rehearsal every Thursday at 7-9:30 pm at Södra Vätterbygdens Folkhögskola under the direction of our conductor Yngve Nordström.

Membership fee/year:
Orchestra member 400 SEK, Student member 100 SEK, Supporting member 400 SEK, Legal entity 600 SEK.
